Acer unveils Ferrari Edition smartphone
ByAcer has announced its next Ferrari-branded product in the form of the liquidmini Ferrari Edition smartphone, which features a 3.2-inch screen and runs Android 2.3. The most notable aspect of liquidmini Ferrari Edition is its red casing with chrome trim, that is curved on the back and adorned with the “prancing horse” logo. Acer’s included SocialJogger 2.0 app is reportedly designed to bring constant updates from Ferrari news sources, including Facebook and Twitter. The newest arrival will be sold bundled with a Ferrari-branded Bluetooth headset, featuring noise and echo cancellation, and automatic adjustment of incoming call volume.
Running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), the liquidmini Ferrari Edition comes with 3.2-inch HVGA (480×320 pixels) capacitive touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera on the back, micro SD card slot with 8GB card included, and with a standard set of communication features such as WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, or HSDPA support.
