Not only is the device said to be the skinniest smartphone in existence, but it is reportedly also the first to be able to stream video from Netflix at HD resolution. Its 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display is said to offer non-blurry movie and TV viewing, and a wider range of colors than most LCD HDTVs. Connectivity comes courtesy of WiFi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, DLNA, Bluetooth 2.1 (with EDR, AVRCP, A2DP, OPP profiles supported) and HDMI output.

It comes as the first product from HTC to be manufactured in partnership with Beats Electronics. HTC‘s 4.3-inch Sensation flagship smartphone will soon be available in an upgraded version, in the form of the Sensation XE. After the Beats by Dr. Dre in-ear headphones are connected, the phone automatically detects the Beats headset in order to optimize the output and improve the audio experience.

The phone can additionally serve as a wireless mobile hotspot, allowing up to five other Wi-Fi-enabled devices to share its 4G LTE signal.
